Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, is seeking an Angiography Technologist to support angiography and interventional radiology lab procedures. You will perform life-saving imaging alongside radiologists in a fast-paced trauma and stroke environment, with emphasis on patient safety and sterile technique.

The role requires call during weekdays and weekends in a rotating schedule and ensures the candidate is within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology
• Graduate of accredited school of radiology
• Associate degree or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring minimal risk to patient and team per protocols of a Level 1 Trauma Center and DNV Designate Comprehensive Stroke facility
• Serve as a technical resource and provide scrub assistance using aseptic technique
• Maintain detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of diagnostic and interventional radiology

Education

Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology
