Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, is seeking an Angiography Technologist to join the IR Lab. You will perform angiograms, assist with stent placements, and participate in trauma and stroke interventions alongside radiologists and skilled clinicians.

This Level I trauma center and DNV-designated stroke facility requires call rotation during weekdays and weekends and expects you to be within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology.
• Graduate of accredited school of radiology.
• Associate degree or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Responsabilités

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring minimal risk to the patient and team members according to departmental protocols.
• Function as a technical resource and provide scrub assistance using aseptic technique.
• Possess detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of diagnostic and interventional radiology.
