Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks team members for its Angio/IR lab. The Radiology team will scrub and monitor physiologic data during diagnostic and therapeutic Angio/IR procedures, ensuring the room is ready and supplies are in check.

Ideal candidates hold state licensure with fluoroscopy, ARRT-R, and BLS/ACLS credentials, with preferred experience in Angio/IR and a readiness to support performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Licensure and Fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R as required by State.
• Previous experience in Angio/Interventional Radiology, preferred.
• BCLS (AHA or ARC) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic data in Angio/IR lab.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared and ready for the procedure.
• Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive Angio/IR procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the Angio/IR lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive Angio/IR procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Licensure and Fluoroscopy permit as required by State.


• ARRT-R as required by State.


• Previous experience in Angio/Interventional Radiology, preferred.


• BCLS (AHA or ARC) required upon hire and maintain current.


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.


• Proficient computer skills.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
