Job summary

Ideal candidates will hold a CDPH CRT license and ARRT-R certification, with fluoro and venipuncture credentials. Experience with PACS and RIS, and strong patient communication are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• Must have Current CRT issued by CDPH.
• Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full‑time or part‑time. The current compensation range for this role is $27.83 to $39.45. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
