The Salvation Army in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a Seasonal Full Time Warehouse Associate for the Christmas Center. You will lift and stack donations, sort items, unload trucks, and assist with angel tree pickups while maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include donor relations, loading dock tasks, and supporting various Christmas warehouse operations as needed. This is a seasonal role with a Monday–Friday schedule and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Seasonal full-time position

Responsabilités

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.
• Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Pick up trash, empty garbage container, and remove all trash to area for disposal.
• Maintains good relationship with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
• Unloads the truck at the Christmas warehouse.
• Assist with angel tree pick-ups from the drop-off locations.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining the Christmas warehouse and loading dock area.
• Assists in working in all areas of the Christmas warehouse operations as needed.
• Performs special projects as needed.
• Performs other related work as required.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
