Job summary

The Salvation Army A Georgia Corp in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a warehouse associate for the Christmas Center season. The role requires lifting, loading and unloading donations (furniture, appliances, clothing) and maintaining safe, orderly operations.

You will assist with set up, cleanup, truck unloading, and angel tree pickup, and help with donor relations to promote a positive image. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; English literacy and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.
• Cleans and services assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Unloads the truck at the Christmas warehouse.
• Assist with angel tree pick-ups from the drop-off locations.
• Performs other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Maintains good relationship with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining the Christmas warehouse and loading dock area.
