Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy lifting.

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.
• Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Pick up trash, empty garbage containers, and remove all trash for disposal.
• Maintains good donor relations to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
• Unloads the truck at the Christmas warehouse.
• Assist with angel tree pickups from the drop-off locations.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining the Christmas warehouse and loading dock area.
• Assists in working in all areas of the Christmas warehouse operations as needed.
• Performs special projects as needed.
• Performs other related work as required.

This position is responsible for the following:

Manages the Angel Tree Program; recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers' work, ensuring adequate staffing to meet Christmas program needs; prepares records and reports for the Christmas program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
• Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.
• Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
• Pick up trash, empty garbage container, and remove all trash to area for disposal.
• Maintains good relationship with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.

Work requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
