Job summary

The Salvation Army service extension unit in Marion, Illinois, seeks an Angel Tree Coordinator to partner with Toy Town locations and other agencies to identify families for the Adopt a Family program.

This part-time, temporary role is 15 hours per week with starting pay of $15.00 per hour. You will collect information, match donors to clients, and provide weekly reports on adoptions.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Good organization, phone, written communication, data entry, research, and interpersonal skills; emotionally mature. Able to accept last minute changes and deadlines. Must be flexible in attitude and nature. Must maintain client confidentiality. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and pass TSA MVR check. Must be available to work weekdays during office hours with some Saturdays and evenings as needed.

Physical and Working Conditions

Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include using a computer, answering phones, etc. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Work requires frequent use of computer terminal and other office equipment. Requires long periods of sitting, and close visual examination of computer products. There may be some standing, bending, carrying of light items such as papers, books, and small packages. Position may occasionally be expected to help set up rooms for meetings and special events.
