BayCare Medical Group is seeking an Associate Program Director for the newly developed ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency program, leading the education and training of the next generation of anesthesiologists while fostering faculty development, mentoring, and leadership advancement.

The role emphasizes curriculum design, accreditation compliance, faculty engagement, and collaboration with hospital leadership to ensure high-quality clinical training and patient care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist with strong clinical and healthcare administrative experience.
• Experience in residency program leadership, GME administration, and academic medicine.
• Completion of Anesthesiology residency/fellowship program.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the ACGME application and management of the anesthesiology residency program, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Develop and refine the curriculum, educational experiences, and assessment processes for residents.
• Foster a culture of learning, mentorship, and professional development for residents and faculty.
• Support faculty in integrating evidence-based teaching strategies and providing high-quality training.
• Act as a liaison with the GME office, ACGME, and other accrediting bodies to ensure continued program excellence.
