Job summary

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking Per Diem General Anesthesiologists to join a busy, patient-centered OR team. The department includes 10 main ORs plus Cath Lab, IR, Endo suites, and a mix of physicians and CRNAs for coverage.

Board-certified or eligible physicians with Florida licensure and DEA are encouraged to apply; malpractice coverage with tail is provided and on-call duties are shared within the team.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology.
• Florida medical license and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia for a variety of cases including cardiac, ortho, neuro, and general surgery.
• Work within the ACT model and collaborate with CRNAs across ORs and labs.

Job Summary:

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is seeking Per Diem General Anesthesiologists to join our dynamic and patient centric team located in the beautiful Port Charlotte, FL on the West Coast of Florida.

Job Description:

• ACT Model of 4 General Anesthesiologists, 3 CV Anesthesiologists and 16 CRNAs
• 10 Main ORs plus Cath Lab, IR, Endo Suites. 6 NORA sites.
• Case mix includes Cardiac (separate team), Ortho, Neuro. General, Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, GYN, Thoracic.
• No Ob. No Trauma. No Peds.
• Beeper call split equally amongst team with post-call Monday off following weekend shift. CRNA is also on call with Physician. Emergent cases only on weekends.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified/Board eligible required

• FL licensed and DEA
