Ascension Medical Group in Suburban Indianapolis seeks a full-time anesthesiologist to join our employed team. Inpatient coverage includes OB and ortho, with a CRNA medical direction model and a busy, well-respected practice supported by a strong referral base.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient anesthesia coverage in a busy hospital/ASC setting.
• Participate in Monday–Friday call with weekend/holiday rotation.
• Collaborate with CRNA-directed anesthesia under medical direction model.
• Cover OB and ortho cases; avoid cardiac or neonatal cases as indicated.
• Serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician as needed.

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist for our group in Suburban Indianapolis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join an established team of anesthesiologists and APPs
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Call required-Monday to Friday with a weekend and holiday call rotation. Call Schedule: q5-
• Call required, post call day off when fully staffed.
• CRNA medical direction model
• Bread & butter cases
• No cardiac or neotatal
• Includes OB and ortho
• Main OR and ASC coverage
• Access to tenured and collegial team
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Must live within 30 minutes of hospital which is located in Anderson, Indiana
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Drive quality and cost-effectiveness initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes.
• Accept patient referrals from fellow physicians to support a collaborative network of care.
• Serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients based on clinical and facility needs

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Anesthesiologist preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
