Ascension is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist for its group in Suburban Indianapolis, employed within a busy, respected health system. This role offers coverage of main OR and ASC, with CRNA supervision and strong support from a tenured team.

The position requires ABOA in Anesthesiology, Indiana medical licensure eligibility, and the ability to participate in call rotations (Mon–Fri with weekends/holidays). Opportunities for leadership exist within a nonprofit setting.

• Indiana medical licensure and DEA registration obtainable prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in inpatient settings including main OR and ASC.

• Respond to call obligations Monday–Friday with weekend/holiday rotations.

Join an established team of anesthesiologists and APPs

Practice setting: Inpatient

Call required-Monday to Friday with a weekend and holiday call rotation. Call Schedule: q5- Call required, post call day off when fully staffed.

Bread & butter cases

No cardiac or neotatal

Includes OB and ortho

Main OR and ASC coverage

Access to tenured and collegial team

Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration

Drive quality and cost-effectiveness initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes.

Accept patient referrals from fellow physicians to support a collaborative network of care.

Serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients based on clinical and facility needs

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is a 117-bed short-term acute care hospital. Operating 24/7, it features a 24-hour emergency room, a Level III trauma-capable designation, and the only robotic surgery center in Howard County. What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
