Job summary

Envision is seeking a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) to join the anesthesia team at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. This Level I Trauma Center and 417-bed facility offers a broad case mix including general, ortho, vascular, ENT, trauma, OB, pediatrics and GI/cardiovascular procedures.

Qualifications

• CAA certification or eligibility with anesthesia experience.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center or equivalent setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform regional anesthesia such as spinal and peripheral nerve blocks when appropriate.
• Assist with general anesthesia and MAC techniques.
• Manage arterial lines and perioperative monitoring in collaboration with anesthesia team.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals in a high-volume center.
