Job summary

Envision is seeking a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) to join the anesthesia team at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. This Level I Trauma Center and 417-bed facility offers a broad case mix including general, ortho, vascular, ENT, trauma, OB, pediatrics and GI/cardiovascular procedures.

Qualifications

• CAA certification or eligibility with anesthesia experience.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center or equivalent setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform regional anesthesia such as spinal and peripheral nerve blocks when appropriate.
• Assist with general anesthesia and MAC techniques.
• Manage arterial lines and perioperative monitoring in collaboration with anesthesia team.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals in a high-volume center.

Envision is currently seeking a CAA to join the anesthesia team at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. This facility, named one of Thomson Reuters Top 100 Hospitals, is a 417 bed acute care facility with a Level I Trauma Center designation and the area's only Adult and Pediatric Burn Center.

Position Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center
• Anesthesia Collaborative Team Model: 20 Physicians and 31 AHP's.
• Approximately 16,000 annual cases.
• 14 state of the art OR's
• Full range of cases including General, Ortho, Vascular, ENT, Trauma, OB, Pediatrics, and GI/Cardiovascular Lab.
• All procedures open to AA's: Regional (spinals and peripheral nerve blocks), general, MAC, and arterial lines. No hearts.
• Flexible scheduling opportunities with 8, 10, 12, 14 hour shifts
• Call requirements: 2 weekend days per month
