Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Alexandria, Virginia. The role involves supervising CRNAs and performing own blocks, with a Monday–Friday 40-hour schedule and Day shift coverage as ASAP start.

The successful candidate will be board-certified in anesthesiology, hold ACLS/BLS/PALS, and be Virginia-licensed or eligible for IMLC. Epic is the EMR in use, and AMN Healthcare provides malpractice insurance and comprehensive travel, lodging, and

• Call & Requirements: Monday through Friday schedule, 40 hours per week
• Supervision vs Independent: Supervising CRNAs and doing own blocks
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications required: Board Certification, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Number of Operating Rooms: 9
• License Required or accepting IMLC: Virginia licensed
