Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Board-certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Alexandria, VA. The physician will supervise CRNAs, manage own blocks, and provide comprehensive anesthesia care in a 9-room facility.

Requirements include ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, a Virginia license or IMLC eligibility, and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. AMN handles travel, lodging, and related logistics for contractors.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist with ACLS, BLS and PALS
• Virginia license or IMLC eligibility
• Locum tenens assignment with 40 hours/week
• Supervising CRNAs and managing own blocks

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs and perform own anesthesia blocks
• Coordinate patient anesthesia care for daytime shifts
• Adhere to Epic EMR documentation and hospital policies
