Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in Alexandria, VA. The role requires supervising CRNAs, performing own blocks, and working a Monday–Friday, 40-hour schedule with ASAP start.

Candidates must be Board Certified in Anesthesiology, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Virginia medical license or IMLC eligibility is required; Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required for Anesthesiology.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible for IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs and manage anesthesia blocks.
• Provide anesthesia care for scheduled cases and emergent needs.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and maintain patient safety.
