Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a community hospital in Rutland, Vermont. You will provide comprehensive anesthesia care, perform pre-anesthesia assessments, and collaborate with CAAs and CRNAs in a team-based environment.

The position involves day shifts with a weekday call schedule and a strong focus on patient safety and quality care. Vermont licensure eligibility and ACLS certification are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Vermont medical license and hospital privileges.
• ACLS certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
• Monitor intraoperative patients and manage hemodynamic stability.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, CRNAs, and CAAs.
• Participate in shared weekday call schedule (3–4 shifts per month).
• Ensure accurate documentation and comply with standards.
• Maintain credentialing and quality standards.
