Odyssey Locums is seeking locum anesthesiologists for assignments near Bloomington Heights, IL. IL license preferred. Multiple shift types available including day and on-call coverage with holiday shifts offered.

Must be cardiac-capable with board certification or fellowship. 1+ year of experience required; credentialing typically takes ~90 days. Epic is used for charting; MDs supervise CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio, with 9 ORs at the facility.

• Cardiac capability is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in anesthesia.
• Board-certified or fellowship-trained to qualify for assignment.
• Willing to obtain or hold state license in the target state; credentialing within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for general, cardiac, neuro, ortho, OB cases.
• MDs supervise CRNAs with a 1:4 ratio.
• Manage shifts including day, night, weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

• Shifts: 8hrs, 10 hrs, 24 hrs.
• Day Shift: Yes.
• OT: Not expected but offered.
• Weeknight - On Call (Pager): Yes.
• Weekend - On Call (Pager): Yes.
• Holiday (Shift): Offered.
• Holiday (Call): Offered.
• Case Type(s): General , Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, OB.
• MUST be Cardiac Capable - no TEE/ fellowship required.
• Board Certification or Fellowship Required: Yes.
• Willing to Accept Candidates Needing to Obtain State License: Yes.
• Site Charting System: Epic
• Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 9.
• Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes.
• What is the MD to CRNA ratio: 1 to 4.

• No new gradautes.
• Must have at least 1yr experience to be considered.
