Job summary

Odyssey Locums in Bloomington area seeks a Cardiac-capable anesthesiologist to cover diverse cases with 9 ORs and Epic charting. Requires board certification and at least 1 year of experience; IL licensure preferred, but state licensure can be pursued. MDs supervise CRNAs; on-site and on-call hours are included with the schedule. Housing and travel accommodations provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anesthesiology required.
• Cardiac capability with 1+ year experience required.
• Willing to obtain IL/IN license as needed; IL license preferred.
• Experience with Epic or similar charting systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for General, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho and OB cases.
• Cover day shifts, on-call night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Collaborate with MDs supervising CRNAs in a 1:4 ratio.

Locum Anesthesiologists needed to start ASAP and working going at a facility near Bloomington Heights, IL. IL license preferred.

• Shifts: 8hrs, 10 hrs, 24 hrs.
• Day Shift: Yes.
• OT: Not expected but offered.
• Weeknight - On Call (Pager): Yes.
• Weekend - On Call (Pager): Yes.
• Holiday (Shift): Offered.
• Holiday (Call): Offered.
• Case Type(s): General , Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, OB.
• MUST be Cardiac Capable - no TEE/ fellowship required.
• Board Certification or Fellowship Required: Yes.
• Willing to Accept Candidates Needing to Obtain State License: Yes.
• Site Charting System: Epic
• Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 9.
• Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes.
• What is the MD to CRNA ratio: 1 to 4.

• No new gradautes.
• Must have at least 1yr experience to be considered.
• Credentialing: 90 days.
