Ocean State Veterinary Specialists (OSVS) in East Greenwich, RI, is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support surgery and imaging services. • Operate anesthetic ventilators, rebreathing, and non-rebreathing systems

Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking aVeterinary Technicianto serve as an anesthetist in our surgery and imaging departments.

Position Overview

The anesthesia technician is responsible for monitoring anesthetized patients across a wide range of specialty services—from stable patients undergoing elective diagnostic procedures to critically ill patients requiring lifesaving surgery. This role offers a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to continually develop advanced anesthesia and nursing skills. Anesthesia technicians work closely with surgeons, oncologists, neurologists, and the Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. As a teaching hospital, new employees will receive a comprehensive training program tailored to their current level of skill and knowledge. New employees will receive support and guidance during the initial training period and beyond.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
