You will collaborate with a veterinary anesthesiologist and the care team to develop individualized protocols.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT/RVT licensure preferred.
• Solid understanding of veterinary terminology, medications, and disease processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare individualized anesthesia protocols in collaboration with a veterinary anesthesiologist and other specialists.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia, using advanced equipment to track vital signs and depth of anesthesia.
• Assist during surgical and diagnostic procedures, anticipating needs of the veterinary team.
• Manage perioperative pain control, administering medications and monitoring pain levels.
• Help maintain accurate records of anesthesia protocols, drug usage, and patient responses.
• Maintain a calm, organized workspace and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Engage in continuing education and case discussions to stay current with anesthesia practices.
