Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA seeks a compassionate Anesthesia Veterinary Technician to work with our board-certified Anesthesiologist. Schedule: Weekdays, 4x10 hour shifts; Pay: $27.00 - $49.00 / hour, commensurate with experience and advancement through our competency tool.

Candidates with VTS will be compensated commensurately. You will assist in procedures, monitor anesthesia, place IV lines, and manage patient records from pre-op to recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician with anesthesia experience.
• Ability to monitor anesthesia and respond to complications.
• Comfort with IV catheter placement and intubation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in anesthesia procedures and formulate plans.
• Monitor anesthesia and troubleshoot issues.
• Prep and maintain IV access and equipment.
• Record vital signs and audit patient records.
