Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) is seeking a Hemodynamic Technician in Surgery to support anesthesia equipment troubleshooting, set up A-lines, assist with pre-procedure blocks, and scrub in for procedures. This role involves on-call rotations evenings, holidays and weekends, with training provided and reporting to the director of surgical services.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR (HCP) certification, and the ability to lift 100+ pounds and respond to on-call

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
CPR certification (HCP) required.
Basic technical skills to provide equipment troubleshooting within Anesthesia.
Ability to lift, push, pull or carry 100+ pounds consistently throughout the shift.
Ability to respond to on-call within 30 minutes.
LMH accreditation may require annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment.
Provide proper surgery positioning of patient.
Scrub in to assist with procedures on call and on weekends.
Assist with setting up A-lines and pre-procedure blocks.
Assist with induction of children.
Properly clean rooms.
Order and stock supplies.
Transport patients to and from the inpatient unit.
Interact effectively with hospital staff, offices, patients, families and guests.
