Licking Memorial Health Systems is seeking a Hemodynamic Technician in Surgery to troubleshoot anesthesia equipment, assist with blocks and A-lines, and scrub in for procedures. The role includes on-call shifts, evenings, holidays and weekends, with training provided.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification, with the ability to lift heavy loads and respond quickly to calls. The position reports to the director of surgical services and requires adherence to accreditation

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement, high school diploma or GED.
• Maintain CPR certification (HCP).
• Basic technical skills to provide equipment troubleshooting support within Anesthesia.
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry an average of more than one hundred pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.
• LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment
• Provide proper surgery positioning of patient
• Scrub in to assist with procedures on call and on weekends
• Assist with setting up A-linesand pre-procedure blocks
• Assist with the induction of children
• Properly clean rooms
• Order and stock supplies
• Transporting patients to and from the inpatient unit
• Effectively interact with hospital staff, offices, patients, families and guests
