Job summary

Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX, seeks an anesthesia support professional to assist with routine to complex procedures and ensure equipment readiness. You will calibrate and troubleshoot anesthesia devices, ventilators, and instrumentation to maintain patient safety.

A strong focus on teamwork and adherence to clinical standards is essential. You will collaborate with nurses and physicians, monitor equipment performance, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold

Qualifications

• 2 years healthcare experience or 1 year OR experience.
• National Provider BLS certification required at hire.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia team before, during and after procedures.
• Prepare and calibrate anesthesia equipment and verify proper working order.
• Troubleshoot anesthesia equipment, ventilators and instrumentation to ensure patient safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years experience in healthcare, OR 2 years experience in healthcare standards compliance, or 1 year working within an Operating Room.
