Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, TX, is seeking an Anesthesia Technician PRN to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff. You will ensure equipment is ready, assist with patient transfers, and help create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.

The role involves preparing and organizing equipment, setting up carts, and assisting with monitoring devices. You will respond quickly in emergencies and uphold infection control standards while protecting patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Strong attention to safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need.
• Set up, transport, and maintain anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use.
• Assist patients with transfers, positioning, preparation, and monitoring devices.
• Act quickly and confidently in emergencies.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection prevention and safety practices.
• Communicate openly with patients and families while protecting privacy and rights.
