Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Anesthesia Technician PRN to join the anesthesia team. You will help keep equipment ready, support patient care during procedures, and contribute to a safe, comfortable surgical journey.

You will prepare and organize equipment, assist with transfers and positioning, monitor devices, and respond quickly in emergencies while upholding infection control and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• No Travel Required
• No experience Required

• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use

• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.
