Job summary

Valleywise Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the OR team by preparing, setting up, and maintaining anesthesia delivery systems and monitoring equipment, ensuring ready-to-use, safe devices for every procedure. You will own the setup, test supplies, calibrate monitors, and troubleshoot instruments to keep surgeries running smoothly.

A high school diploma or GED, at least one year in a medical facility, and BLS certification within three months are required.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Post-high school training in the medical field preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in a medical facility.
Prefer one year experience in an operating room.

Responsibilities

Own the Setup: Acquire, assemble, and test specialized supplies and anesthesia delivery systems before every procedure.
Support High-Stakes Cases: Deliver crucial, real-time technical support during routine and complex surgeries.
Master the Tech: Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced patient monitoring devices for safety.
Manage the Lifecycle: Keep the OR ready by maintaining equipment integrity before, during, and after anesthesia.
Collaborate for Success: Work under the supervision of the Anesthesia Technician Supervisor to keep the department running smoothly.
