You will set up monitoring devices, aid in airway management, handle lab tests like ABGs, and help with blood products as requested. Strong organization and calm, high-pressure performance are essential.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• College coursework in Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, or related fields preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
• 1–2 years of LVN experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Set up, calibrate, and maintain anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
• Assist with aseptic or sterile techniques during procedures and airway management.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormal changes to anesthesia providers.
• Stock anesthesia supplies in ORs and other procedural areas to ensure readiness.
• Assist with ABGs, ACTs, and other point‑of‑care tests.
• Prepare, obtain, and deliver blood products and pharmaceuticals as requested by the anesthesia team.
• Provide guidance to other anesthesia technicians and team members as needed.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and monitor application under supervision.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with repair departments for timely resolution.
• Maintain regular attendance and compliance with policies and standards.
