ProHealth Care in Wisconsin is seeking an Anesthesia Tech to join the operating room team and collaborate closely with the RN and physician across the full spectrum of anesthesia procedures.

You will keep the anesthesia work areas stocked and ready, assemble equipment for invasive procedures, calibrate machines, and assist in emergencies. A high school diploma plus an anesthesia tech/surgical tech program or EMT experience is preferred; BLS certification is required or obtainable on hire.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an anesthesia tech, surgical tech, or EMT program is preferred.
• BLS from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Maintains cleanliness, readiness, organization, and stock levels in anesthesia work areas and carts.
• Prepares and assembles equipment for invasive procedures and assists the anesthesiologist.
• Activates anesthesia machines daily and performs leak tests; calibrates oximeters as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency situations and airway equipment.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide cost-effective patient care.
• Has working knowledge of anesthesia agents, reversal agents, analgesics, and anti-emetics.
