JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Are Hiring: Anesthesia Technician - OMH - 1.0 FTE at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. We perform procedures including general/vascular, orthopedics, urology, GYN, and ophthalmology. Our 8 operating rooms, renovated in May 2020, include new system integration for efficient surgical flow. As an Orthopedic Center of Excellence, we provide a range of orthopedic procedures, including same-day discharge for total joints. Schedule: 0600-0630/1630-1700, Mon-Fri. No on-call, weekends, or holidays.

What You Will Do: Assist RN and/or physician in the operating room with procedures requiring anesthesia intervention. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, readiness, and stock levels in anesthesia work areas, preparing equipment for invasive procedures, assisting anesthesiologists, activating anesthesia machines, and demonstrating knowledge of emergency situations and airway equipment. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, with knowledge of anesthesia agents and related medications.
What You Will Need: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an anesthesia tech, surgical tech program, or previous anesthesia tech/EMT experience preferred; Cell Saver competency; BLS through AHA.
