We Are Hiring: Inpatient Pharmacy Technician at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital - 1.0 FTE - Days/PMs.

This 1.0 FTE position involves 40 hours per week, with four 10.5-hour shifts, including a mix of first and second shifts (typically 50/50). Shifts are from 0600-1630, 1230-2300, and 1330-2400. There is a rotation for every third weekend staffing (one weekend per month) and every third holiday (two holidays per year).
Technicians at Tier 1 perform basic pharmaceutical duties under the supervision of registered pharmacists. They should be proficient in mathematical and pharmaceutical calculations, computer and telephone skills, and be capable of working independently. Responsibilities include stock ordering and control, drug product selection, non-sterile drug preparation, controlled substance handling, and operating pharmacy automated systems. Retail Tier 1 technicians also handle insurance adjudication, prescription entry, cash handling, and inventory control.
