Job summary

Texas Health Resources Plano location is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II PRN to support anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases. You will help prepare rooms and equipment to ensure efficient patient care.

This role emphasizes patient safety, sterile technique, supply management, and reliable daily computer support, including guidance with Optime. PRN shifts include nights and weekends, with rotating hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CAT - Certified Anesthesia Tech required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 Days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Provides support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care.
• Protects patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment and understanding equipment function.
• Maintains supply, equipment and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services. Maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom.
• Daily computer support. Troubleshoots equipment. Able to support Anesthesiologist in Optime.
