Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Anesthesia Tech II at the Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery in Plano, TX. This full-time role supports anesthesia providers during surgeries, prepares rooms and equipment, and helps maintain sterile, safe environments.

You will work 10:30am-7:00pm, assisting with inventory and equipment function while contributing to KPIs for patient outcomes and satisfaction. A high school diploma, CAT certification on hire, and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience (Strongly Preferred).
• CAT – Certified Anesthesia Tech (Upon Hire Required).
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Provides support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care.
• Protects patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment and understanding equipment function.
• Maintains supply, equipment and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom.
• Able to support Anesthesiologist in Optime.
• Assists in meeting departmental/hospital KPIs related to patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, financial performances, organizational effectiveness and community health care (Reach Out Programs)
