Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical healthcare experience.
• Attention to detail and teamwork in fast-paced OR environment.

Responsibilities

• The Anesthesia Technician II provides perioperative technical and clinical support to the members of the anesthesia team in relation to all anesthesia procedures.
• Assists with anesthesia equipment setup, monitoring devices, and patient safety during procedures.
• Prepares patient for access line placement and invasive monitoring (sterile field setup, arterial/central lines, etc.).
• Assists the licensed anesthesia provider with intubation and airway management under supervision.
• Provides patient security during induction, intubation, and recovery, and assists with patient transport and room turnover.
• Offsite support to anesthesia staff across the institution as needed.
