**This Anesthesia Technician - Cardiac will be responsible for:**

• Cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the anesthesia workroom and equipment in all operating rooms and satellite anesthetizing locations.
• Assisting the anesthesia provider in the safe and efficient care of patients receiving anesthesia.
• Providing specialized equipment to assist anesthesia staff when appropriate.
• Preparing anesthesia machines and carts for use the following day.
• Assembling and preparing intravenous (IV) solutions for anesthesia providers.
• Working with the perioperative team to ensure prompt OR turnover.
• Assisting with difficult airway management by providing equipment such as video laryngoscopes and fiberoptic intubation carts.
• Preparing age-appropriate anesthesia equipment, monitors, and airway support.

**Shift:** 2PM-10:30PM

**To qualify, you must have:**

• A high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• Experience in Cardiac anesthesia.
• Analytical skills to gather and interpret data in routine situations.
• Effective communication skills for exchanging information and relaying messages courteously and tactfully.
• The ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
