This Anesthesia Technician - Cardiac will be responsible for: Cleaning, maintaining and stocking the anesthesia workroom and equipment in all operating rooms and satellite anesthetizing locations Assisting the anesthesia provider in the safe and efficient care of patients receiving anesthesia Providing specialized equipment to assist anesthesia staff when appropriate Preparing anesthesia machines and carts for use the following day Assembling and preparing intravenous (IV) solutions for anesthesia provider Working with perioperative team to ensure prompt OR turnover Assisting with difficult airway management by providing equipment needs such as video laryngoscope and fiberoptic intubation cart - Preparing age appropriate anesthesia equipment, monitors, and airway support
Shift: 2PM-10:30PM
To qualify, you must have:
A High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. Experience in Cardiac The analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine. The ability to exchange information on factual matters, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors, and/or hospital employees The ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external constituencies
