The work is active and hands-on, with mentorship and a clear career ladder from Level I to II/III as you gain experience. This entry-level opportunity emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and strong teamwork in a busy perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (CNA/EMT/PCT/CMA).
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 25–50 lbs and stay on feet for long periods.
• Comfort working around blood and body fluids in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and check anesthesia machines before procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms with airway, monitoring, and equipment.
• Support video/direct laryngoscopy and invasive setups.
• Turn over rooms and restock supplies between cases.
• Respond to requests for airway help, equipment, or emergency support.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate needs promptly.
• Clean, return, and organize equipment for readiness.
• Provide handoff of outstanding needs at shift change.
