Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team at the Main Campus. You will plan, prepare, and ensure readiness of necessary items and equipment for anesthesia services, assisting anesthesiologists and staff in each procedure.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 1–2 years of OR or hospital experience. CPR certification is required; anesthesia technician certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; preferred.
• 1–2 years of OR or hospital experience desirable.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Certification as Anesthesia Technician is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and ensure readiness of anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Support anesthesiologists and anesthesia staff by preparing equipment and supplies for each case.
