SGMC Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers on the Main Campus. The role involves preparing equipment and supplies for procedures, assisting the anesthesia team, and ensuring readiness for emergencies.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and up to two years of OR experience. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and able to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The work performed by the Anesthesia Technician encompasses a range of specialized procedures and techniques used in the treatment plan for patients undergoing anesthesia, including emergency situations. They must plan, prepare, and ensure readiness of necessary items/equipment required for anesthesia service personnel to provide safe and appropriate care. This position supports the anesthesiologists and anesthesia staff by proactively planning and preparing specific equipment and supplies for each procedure/case. The Anesthesia Technician is a vital and essential member of the anesthesia team.
