Bayhealth is seeking an Anesthesia Technician at the Sussex Campus Hospital to support the anesthesia department in the operating rooms and satellite care areas. Responsibilities include stocking workstations, coordinating with pharmacy, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and Basic Life Support, with prior anesthesia tech or related health care experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Credential(s): Basic Life Support.
• Experience: Prior Anesthesia Technician or similar health care role is required.

Aufgaben

• Stock anesthesia workstations and Pyxis carts; restock per caseload.
• Coordinate with pharmacy and central sterile to ensure available medications and supplies.
• Assemble and set up anesthesia equipment for procedures.
• Maintain infection control and equipment maintenance per guidelines.
• Assist with training new staff in operating room procedures.
