Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for a part-time, 0.01 FTE position with a variable shift. The role supports anesthesiologists and the care team, serving as the equipment expert and providing leadership and training to staff.

Required include BLS (AHA) at hire, 1 year of anesthesia care assistance, and experience with anesthesia equipment maintenance. Preferred ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• 1 year experience assisting with anesthesia care.
• Experience cleaning, stocking, testing, calibrating and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment.

Responsabilités

• Support anesthesiologists and the patient care team.
• Lead and oversee anesthesia equipment operation and maintenance.
• Provide direction, training, and oversight of Anesthesia Assistant staff.
