Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK, is hiring for multiple openings of Associate Anesthesia Technician. Full-time roles with 40 hours/week on varying shifts.

Under supervision, assist anesthesia staff by handling instruments and equipment, restocking supplies and medications, and maintaining a clean, safe OR environment. Minimum qualifications include BLS certification and either 1 year hospital experience or equivalent OR competencies, with CNA training preferred.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (required).
• 1 year external candidates must have one year of clinical experience in a hospital or equivalent.
• Internal candidates must have equivalent competencies of an Operating Room Assistant II.

Responsibilities

• Assist Anesthesiologists by processing anesthesia instruments, providing equipment, and restocking supplies and medications.
• Provide general support to Anesthesia and Nursing staff in the Operating Room under direct supervision.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment to facilitate patient-focused care.
