Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an anesthesia technician to support anesthesia providers and the ASC team in acquiring, preparing, and applying anesthesia equipment and supplies. You will calibrate and maintain monitoring devices and delivery systems throughout anesthesia care.

In this role, you will assist with patient transport, positioning, resuscitation, and ensure clean, sterile work areas and proper inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• BLS through American Heart Association required.
• 2+ years of experience as an anesthesia technician.
• Proficient in operation and decontamination of anesthesia equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers and ASC team with acquisition, preparation, and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Prepare, set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems during all phases of anesthesia.
• Assist with transporting, positioning, and resuscitation as needed.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize work areas/equipment and manage supply/inventory.
