Job summary

West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff. You will help prepare equipment, assist with patient transfer, and maintain a safe, sterile environment throughout procedures.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights
