Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia services under supervision of the Manager. You will set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability for patients undergoing procedures.

You will coordinate anesthesia and auto transfusion services, assist physicians and hospital staff, and maintain safe, stocked work areas.

Qualifications

• The Anesthesia Technician works under the supervision of the Manager, Anesthesia Services and performs a variety of anesthesia equipment and supply related tasks.
• Coordinates Anesthesia and auto transfusion services to support surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, check, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Provide diagnostic and treatment support during regular critical care situations.
• Stock and organize work areas to safety and efficiency; demonstrate a positive, collaborative attitude.
