Job Summary and Qualifications

The Anesthesia Technician provides essential support during surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining anesthesia supplies and equipment, collaborating with the perioperative team to ensure patient safety.

  • Prepares and organizes equipment and supplies for surgeries, reviewing schedules to ensure readiness.
  • Transports and sets up equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
  • Handles medications and fluids according to procedures.
  • Performs room turnover duties efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Calibrates and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment, reporting damages.
  • Responds to on-call situations as scheduled.

Qualifications include:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • High School diploma or GED.
