Job Summary and Qualifications

The Anesthesia Technician provides essential support to anesthesia clinicians during surgeries by preparing supplies, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safety. They collaborate with the perioperative team to deliver a safe patient experience.

• Prepares and organizes equipment and supplies for surgeries, reviewing schedules to ensure readiness
• Transports and sets up equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
• Handles medications, IV fluids, contrast media, and irrigating solutions per procedures
• Performs room turnover, including cleaning, restocking, and equipment maintenance
• Calibrates and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment, reporting damages
• Responds to on-call situations as scheduled

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of related experience
