Job summary

Shriners Children’s Chicago is seeking a PRN Anesthesia Tech to support the OR team. In this role you will maintain anesthesia carts and machines, assist with room turnover, stock cabinets, and ensure medications and supplies are readily available for procedures.

The position offers flexible PRN hours within a pediatric specialty setting, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the OR anesthesia carts and machines.
• Assist with room turnover.
• Maintain, stock and clean anesthesia OR cabinets and workroom.
• Stock medication drawer, check for outdated drugs.
• Stock equipment drawers.
• Dispose/replace trash bags on carts.
• Order supplies.
• Take specimens to lab.
